Here at Simi Covenant Preschool we provide a Bible story daily to share our love for God's Word. We believe that God creates each child as a unique and special individual. We believe that children and families are important to God and that they are loved unconditionally by God. Therefore, we believe it is important to share God's Word with young children, to present basic Bible truths to them, and to introduce them to Jesus Christ. Our school is an outreach of Simi Covenant Church.

We provide daily activities that stem children's curiosity for learning through play. We adhere to an emergent curriculum philosophy in teaching, emphasizing responsiveness to children's interests. The goal is to create meaningful learning experiences for the children.

Here at Simi Covenant Preschool we enjoy having community helpers share their profession with our students. This introduces children to the concept of interdependence and cooperation. Learning about police officers, dentists, firefighters and others, helps children understand the importance of various professions in maintaining a safe and functional community.

We at Simi Covenant Preschool explore life science. Life science helps young children understand the living world around them, fostering curiosity and a sense of wonder. It lays the foundation for scientific thinking, promotes observation skills, and enhances their understanding of plants, animals, and ecosystems, contributing to a well-rounded education.
